2020 Climate-CIK Journey

This is a climate innovation summer school across 3 European cities with the objective of generating startup/campaign/policy ideas related to fighting climate change. As it’s an EU-funded programme, it is free of charge for EU citizens + Turkey and Western Balkans, as well as any international students studying at EU unis (also probably the last year UK citizens can participate for free).

It is targeted at recent graduates and young professionals, but students in their final year of bachelor’s are also eligible.

  1. Is this scheme still open to UK citizens despite our departure from the EU in January?

    • If you visit https://journey.climate-kic.org/contact-us-faqs/ you will find the following

      Because of ongoing Brexit negotiations, we cannot yet guarantee sponsorship for UK based applicants. We encourage you to apply and we will clarify funding as soon as possible. If funding cannot be provided, UK applicants will be permitted to retract their interest in the Journey programme without penalty. Citizens of other EU countries living in the UK are still eligible for funding.
