  1. Don’t tell me you are surprised by this??? I have wondered for a long time how often and how thoroughly “Due Diligence” is applied to all manner of things including us.. Mind you if we want something we have to be red hot on our accuracy every time.. there is an irony here and it does beg questions re disparity when we fund the Council and costs from our Council Tax! Democracy is so subjective/variable in how it is applied these days… very undemocratic and certainly not equally/fairly applied… You could say it is a fantasy of days gone by…

  2. e-scooters, along with pedal cycles (with or without electric assist), could be used as replacements for cars in built up areas.

    Current thinking seems to about providing roads/paths only for people walking or for people in vehicles designed for motorways. Motorway vehicles take up a lot of room (both parked and moving), are dangerous and use a lot of energy – but they dominate the places where people live.

    We need to shift city infrastructure away from motorway vehicles towards vehicles which travel in the 10 to 20 mph range.
