The Global Energy Alliance aims to bring together stakeholders that would otherwise remain fragmented, and enable transformational programs to flourish.

At COP26, The Global Energy Alliance for People & Planet announced a Call for Transformational Country Partnerships, which will offer financial and technical assistance to countries with the vision, commitment, and highest level of leadership to advance major national programs in fossil fuel transitioning, grid-based renewables and distributed renewable energy.

National governments are invited to respond to our Call for Transformational Country Partnerships, and we look for visible commitments from heads of state along with relevant ministries and expect them to be the joint owners of their CTCP proposed programs. They can in turn choose to include key sub-entities that might act as essential partners in their programs (e.g., state-owned enterprises/utilities or sub-sovereign entities
