How Businesses in Cov & Warks are cutting energy bills
The Coventry and Warwickshire Green Business Programme, (GBP) which is part-funded by the European Union Development Fund, provides SMEs with much needed grant funding, enabling them to both cut costs of their energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint.
So far the GBP which is delivered by Coventry Council and its partners, has made a significant difference to our local business community. Over £2.7m has so far been awarded to local SMEs which has also resulted in a reduction of 13,559 tonnes of CO2 per year.
“With less than a year left of ERDF funding, we urge any SME interested in accessing the programme, to complete the registration form, which will enable eligible businesses to join the scheme and to arrange a free energy and resource efficiency audit. Together, we can protect your business against rising energy costs and reduce your carbon emissions!” concluded Bernie McCullagh, Business Energy Advisor at the Green Business Programme.
Read case studies of how local businesses have reduced energy bills by almost £3,000 a year, received awarded grants of £thousands.
