Dear Coventry City Councillors,
I would like to offer an amendment to CllrJ O’Boyle and Cllr P Hetherton resolution for the Coventry Council’s Meeting. Tuesday 18 June 2019 and extend an invitation to the attached Clean Air, Green Future Conference 20 June 2019.
“This Council confirms its commitment to addressing the UN science based global climate change global emergence, to contain rising global temperatures within 1.5 degrees, requiring to generating 50% clean energy, including transport fuels and associated technologies by 2030.
Coventry should greatly accelerate its current achievement by ;
1) Promoting understanding and implementing Powering West Midlands Growth-A Regional Approach to Clean Energy Innovation
2) Convening Coventry Citizens Climate Emergency Summit and a School Students Summit
3) To work in partnership with public, private and community organisation to produce a promote a sustained awareness and engagement programme for Making Coventry’s Clean, Green Future. It will combatting the duel danger of local atmospheric pollution and global emission, which have a common cause
