Volunteers invited to Interview Community Groups

Please interview a community group
Coventry Climate Action Network invites you to interview one (or more) of the local community groups listed below about the work they are doing to help reduce the threat of climate change. You can find out more about each group by clicking on their name in the list below. This will take you to a page where you can find out more about them.
When you have found a group that interests you, first check in the list below that nobody else is already contacting them.
What to say to your selected group
Send your chosen group an email and invite them to take part in an interview. Explain that interviews will be conducted and recorded via video conference so CovCAN can publish them on YouTube. Tell them this will give your chosen group a little more publicity.
If they are willing to take part, you need to work with your chosen group to find a day and time that suits you both.
You need to explain that the interviews will be conducted and recorded via Zoom video which must be booked on a system called CovTeleCon.
Because this system is used by others, you will need to check that your chosen time slot is free. To do that, visit covtelecon.uk and check that none of the Forthcoming Events are booked at your required date and time. If your time slot is already booked then you and the interviewee(s) will need to find a different day and time.
Also please be sure to do this a day or two in advance of your chosen day in order to give us time to process your chosen time slot and send you an email with the Zoom link.
How to book your Zoom time slot
In order to reserve your chosen time slot, you will first need to register on CovTeleCon at covtelecon.uk/register.
Next book your interview by following the instructions on the covtelecon.uk/new-teleconference page. The Event Name should be “CovCAN Interview”.
Once we have processed your booking, we will send you an email containing a link to join the video meeting on the date and time specified. You will need to send a copy of this email to all the interviewees.
