Coventry city council commissioned a report from Your Climate Strategy Ltd which was published at an unknown date entitled “Net Zero Carbon Route Map for Coventry”. It can be downloaded here either as a PDF or a Word document. It contains information on Coventry’s past and “present” carbon footprint, although “present” seems to be 2022. It provides a powerful argument for time-bound targets.

In March 2023, Coventry published its Draft Climate Change Strategy entitled “A Green Future for a Changing City”. You can read the document online at www.coventry.gov.uk/draftclimatechangestrategy, or download a PDF here.

This strategy covers the period 2023 to 2030. We have previously noted that the strategy should have been published in 2020 when the previous strategy expired.
