Friends of the Earth (FoE) are running a Climate Action Campaign which hopes, among other things, to persuade local councils to turn their climate promises into concrete action by adopting a climate action plan, and transforming their communities into fairer, more sustainable places for generations to come.

FoE has created

• a template Climate Action Plan for councils in England and Wales. Find out how you can help get that plan in place;
• A COP Hub to support action before and during COP26; and
• Resources on a wide range of related topics

In addition they will organise training and other events including Global Day of Action on 6 November.
