Recycle your real Christmas tree and help a charity!
You can ask “Coventry and Warwickshire Charity Xmas Tree-cycling” to collect your Christmas tree, in return you will offer a donation to The Myton Hospices and Pass The Smile for Ben.
Their volunteers are collecting trees across Coventry and Warwickshire on 8th, 9th and 10th January 2022.
This year they will be collecting from:
Coventry: CV1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Meriden, Balsall Common and Berkswell: CV7 7xx (NB: only CV7 7xx, not CV7 8xx or other derivatives)
Kenilworth: CV8.
Rugby and Dunchurch: CV21 and 22.
Leamington Spa and Warwick: CV31, 32 and 34.
Trees will be transported to Russells Garden Centre in Baginton where they will be shredded and using as path mulch in their Quarry gardens and maze.
The average donation in 2021 was around £14 – this year they hope to make this above £15 – can you help?
Visit their website to register your tree for collection, make your donation to charity and simply leave your tree outside between 8-10 January for volunteers to collect and recycle!
