Change the Motion for Coventry City Council Climate Change Debate
Councillors Jim O’Boyle and Patricia Hetherton have tabled the following motion to be debated at the next meeting of Coventry City Council at 14:00 on 18 June:

This Council confirms its commitment to addressing the issue of climate change and recommends the course of action that we are currently undertaking to respond to the climate change emergency

CovCAN believes that to carry on as normal shows a totally inadequate response to the climate emergency.
We therefore urge all citizens of Coventry to write to your local councillor as well as all members of the Cabinet urging them to change the motion.
You need to do this as soon as possible and certainly before the debate on 18 June.
