Elders Press Conference on COP26 and G20
On 18 October, the Chair of The Elders, Mary Robinson, and her deputy, Ban Ki-moon, addressed the international media in a virtual press call on the climate crisis.
The two Elders provided opinions and analyses on the forthcoming G20 Summit and the Climate COP26 in Glasgow. They spoke of the leadership required from the US and China, and the ambition needed from Australia, India, the UK and a range of other countries.
The Elders are independent leaders using their collective experience and influence for peace, justice and human rights worldwide. The group was founded by Nelson Mandela in 2007.
