School strikers are calling on everyone: young people, parents, workers, and all concerned citizens to join a massive climate emergency strike and a week of actions for future starting on September 20. This Strike will be a warm up towards Earth Strike on september 27th
People all over the world will use their power to stop “business as usual” in the face of the climate emergency. They will join young people in the streets to demand an end to the age of fossil fuels and emergency action to avoid climate breakdown.
International Day of Peace Saturday 21 September
Climate change is perhaps the greatest threat to peace in the world. Rising sea-levels, forest fires and drought will driving increasingly serious mass migrations of people, animals and diseases, leading to social unrest in cooler countries where migrants will arrive.
International Day of Peace is an opportunity to raise the threat that climate change poses to world peace.
Earth Strike 27 September
Until the world’s governments and businesses are held accountable to the people, #FridaysForFuture are refusing to participate in the system that fills their pockets. They say that there will be no banking, no offices full of employees, no schools full of children, until their demands are met.
