Big Ideas Programme Seeks Mentors for School Children
Solutions for the Planet‘s Big Ideas Programme motivates young people to learn about science, technology, engineering, maths and sustainability issues supported by companies that are leading in these fields internationally. See the video below for more about the programme.
Solutions for the Planet build partnerships for businesses, schools and communities because they believe that working together to develop incredible ideas will make the world better. Groups of students aged 11-14 are mentored by staff from business partners who help them design their solutions and enter their ideas into our Big Ideas Competition. Following scrutiny by an expert panel, the Competition normally ends with area winners presenting at the National Finals at the Palace of Westminster. This event is hosted by a cross-party group of MPs.
This year the competition is going to be held online. They are currently looking for business partners who can mentor schools taking part in the programme.
